Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band Fort Worth Concert reviews
Squeeze great, mixed bag
Jimmy Buffett's Coral Reefer Band has never sounded better this time I’ve seen them (2026, 1991, 2026). The show, performance, and songbook are amazing. How are they not in the R&R HOF???
The choice of X as an opening act was bizarre. I did not know them before, was not a fan. While they and their fans were obviously enthused, the sound was so loud and distorted I couldn’t even make out a word of their lyrics, so I didn’t like the sound of the music and couldn’t make out the lyrics. That made for a miserable hour in an overheated room—hot night in September, let’s have some a/c, Fox Theater! I will never understand concerts with the volume of high that everything distorts, you can’t hear the lyrics or what the singer says between songs, and your hearing is tinny before the group you paid to see even comes out.
Also, I had my rear window smashed and items stolen. Parking options around are not great.
